Kristin Fischer will join CNN as the Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. In her role as Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she has covering everything from NASA and its newly created Space Force up until commercial space firms, as well as the growth and advent of space tourism. Being the daughter and the mother of two NASA astronauts Kristin was raised in the space industry and was a part of the space industry for five years, reporting on the Biden and Trump Administration's space policies as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. As she covered the two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, as well as both administrations' efforts to curb the coronavirus epidemic, Kristin covered a lot of other things. The extensive trips she took with the Vice President and the President included an exclusive trip to Afghanistan, which she took along with Donald Trump. Kristin has worked in the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before being hired by the network. She won the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as a CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her experience behind the camera in 2014.
